Hi And thank you so much for your interest and question. This stump table is very popular and people LOVE them. Unfortunately, the finish would not hold up outside. With the varying humidity, it would flake off. Even if you didn't decide to add a finish, the table top is not made or not able to be made with space between the wood used and thus would cause cracking and you wouldn't be happy with the way it looks over time. But they look great inside if you have a spot for it!
