I see it's 4' wide but how long is it? Is 4' really the width or is that the length? Also, what are the dimensions in between the footings? What is the maximum span length the 4' bridge can go across?

Thank you for the question. We have updated our specifications to make them a bit clearer. This pine foot bridge comes in 4ft long x 36 in. wide or 6ft long x 36" wide. We recommend at least one foot of solid ground on each side of the bridge for the footing. The span of a 4ft bridge is about 2 feet if you allow for 12 inches on each side for footing.
